Looking for an au pair for next year?

Dear family.

My name is Anna Sofie and I am 19 years old. I live in Denmark with my mom, dad and little sister. I graduated high school in the summer of 2022, and I am currently working as a substitute teacher at a school for children of the age range 6-12 years.

I would love one more gap year (August 2023-June 2024) as an au pair, where I can gain insight into another culture. I have always dreamed of living in a beautiful city like Paris since I am very interested in art, architecture and design. Furthermore, it has always been a wish of mine to learn French since I think it is a particularly beautiful language.

I am good with children and it comes naturally to me to interact with them. I come from a big family, and I have always loved taking care of and spending time with my younger cousins. I am a family person and value spending time with my family.
I love being creative and I often draw. Additionally, I have attended piano lessons for several years and I still like to play sometimes.

As a person I am smiling, kind, conscientious, calm, independent and I am not afraid of taking on responsibility. In addition, I have a driving licence which I have had since I was 18 years old. I am fluent in English.

À la recherche d'une famille d'acceuil

Chère famille
Je m’appelle Liva, j’ai 18 ans et j’habite à Farum au Danemark. J’habite avec mes parents et j’ai aussi une grande sœur et un grand frère.

Je vais au lycée et j’aurai mon bac en juin, le mois prochain. Dans mon année sabbatique je voudrais travailler comme au pair à Paris. J’ai toujours aimé la France aussi bien la culture que la langue. Je suis allée en France au moins une fois par an depuis l’âge de sept ans. L’année dernière je suis allée à Paris et je l’aime beaucoup.

J’ai étudié le français à l’école pendant sept ans et au lycée j’ai choisi le niveau supérieur de français. Donc, je parle déjà un peu français mais je voudrais parler couramment le français. En outre, je parle couramment l’anglais.

Je suis bonne avec les enfants qui m’aiment beaucoup aussi. J’aime faire la cuisine et la pâtisserie. Je sais bien tenir le ménage parce que je suis habituée à aider chez moi. Je suis ponctuelle et consciencieuse.

À la recherche d'une famille d'acceuil

Je m'appelle Laura Quaade Viltoft, j'ai 19 ans et je suis en terminale dans un

lycée avec un profil international à Copenhague. Je vais donc passer mon bac

cet été et je suis en train de planifier une année sabbatique pour la prochaine

année scolaire. J'espère ainsi pouvoir commencer chez vous en

août/septembre 2023. Depuis que je suis petite, j’ai toujours rêvé de pouvoir

vivre en France comme ma mère a pu le faire et j’adorerai pouvoir parler

français couramment. J’ai eu la chance de pouvoir étudier le français

pendant 6 ans dans le système scolaire danois, mais je sais qu’il faut aussi

parler français plus régulièrement pour pouvoir réellement l’apprendre. C’est

pour cela que j'aimerais vivre en France pour apprendre la langue et

connaître la culture.

J'ai deux petites sœurs dont je me suis toujours occupées quand mes parents

s’absentaient et j'ai également travaillé souvent comme baby-sitter. J'ai beaucoup d'expérience avec les enfants et je pourrais en plus vous proposez de l’aide aux devoirs dans les matières suivantes : anglais, sciences sociales et mathématiques (ce sont mes matières à gros coefficient au lycée). J'aime aussi cuisiner et jouer au tennis pendant mon temps libre, donc je pourrais même apprendre votre enfant à jouer au tennis, si vous le souhaitez. Je joue aussi un peu au piano et à la guitare et j’ai mon permis de conduire. J’ai une grande affection pour les animaux domestiques et ça me ferait plaisir de promener votre chien par exemple. De plus, je suis non-fumeuse.

J'espère pouvoir être une grande aide dans votre vie de tous les jours !

We are the Brun Rouault family

We are looking for an English speaking au pair to stay with our family from end of August 2023 until July 2024.
We have 2 lovely kids, a girl and a boy, 13 and 9 years old. Our kids are doing plenty of activities like dance, horse riding and music.

We live in the Paris Center in the 17th area near the Champs Elysées and the Danish Church. Our children are in the bilingual school, 10 minutes walking from where we live. They speak French (native) and English.

We are an active and welcoming family and parents working full time

We will need your help to pick up our youngest kid after school from 4pm15/30 until 7pm30 and on Wednesday afternoon and baby sittings during the week or week-end (maximum 30 hours per week).

The typical day would be to pick up kids at school, going to activities, supervising homework, bath and cooking simple meals until we arrive around 7pm30/8pm

We like to have an Aupair because for us it's a good way to discover another culture and also to share our Parisian way of living and more generally we are happy to show all the good things of living in France (culture and foods!)

We are looking for an Aupair who is

- Trustworthy, reliable and loving kids

- Active and organised

- Happy to speak English with the kids and French or English with us

- experienced with kids and cooking simple meals

- Flexible : if kids are sick and can not go to school we would expect the Au pair to be flexible and spend time at home with the kids

Homework
To help the kids to do homework by checking if they have done them for example.

School Holidays
We have quite a lot of school vacation (8 weeks without summer). Usually, it's 2 weeks. We usually try to take one week off during this vacation so we will need your help to spend time with the kids one week full-time but it will be compensated the following week that will be off.

Housekeeping tasks

We have a cleaning lady who comes three times a week so we will just ask you to take care of the clothes of the kids and to keep the kids rooms tidy.

We will ask you to participate to the daily tasks (cleaning the kitchen after cooking, loading/unloading the dishwasher and put away the shopping deliveries)

We like to have a tidying house

Meals

You will share dinner with the kids at our home, simple and healthy food. If you want to have lunch or dinner with us the other days you are welcome.
