About the job

With the EU Brexit Adjustment Reserve, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark has received funds to help Danish companies negatively affected by Brexit through measures supporting their internationalization in order to enable new export opportunities in France replacing export lost due to Brexit.

The Embassy of Denmark in Paris is therefore looking to hire two dynamic and dedicated Junior Market Entry Advisers to join the Embassy Trade department currently comprising 15 people. One position is placed in the Tech Team, the other is placed in the Health Team.

The Trade Department creates value for Danish companies conceptualizing and executing different types of activities such as market studies and market entry strategies, partner searches, stakeholder management and public affairs, PR activities, awareness raising and B2B events, delegations to and from Denmark etc.

The positions

As Junior Market Entry Advisor you will support Danish SMEs in their export plans and implementation of their entry to the French market or expansion of their current market activities. You will support companies' first contact, initiatives and activities and help create new growth opportunities for the companies. You will work on the initial first steps at both strategic and operational levels.

You will

  •   Conceptualize and execute strategies and concrete activities with a high degree of individual freedom and responsibility

  •   Be responsible for meeting KPI-targets on client portfolio and value creation and evaluated and rewarded accordingly

 Qualifications:

  •   Experience with doing business in France

  •   Knowledge of Danish stronghold positions and experience with public-private partnerships

  •   Ability to identify commercial opportunities and develop relevant export promotion activities

  •   Ability to create close relationships with companies and authorities, and actively use your network.

  •   Able to handle many relationships and projects at the same time - and good at seeing opportunities and contexts.

  •   Experience with consultancy tasks and methodology

  •   Ability to work efficiently on your own, but also a distinct team player who can work interdisciplinary across ministries and stakeholders

  •   Master’s degree in business administration and/or other commercially oriented graduate degree

  •   Excellent written and verbal French, fluency in English. Knowledge of Danish or another

    Scandinavian language is a plus, but not a requirement.

  •   Experience form the tech or healthcare sector is an advantage

    Employment conditions

We are the Brun Rouault family

We are looking for an English speaker Aupair  to stay with our family during the school year (End August 2021 until End July 2022). We have 2 lovely kids, a girl and a boy, 11 years old and  7 years

Our kids are doing plenty of activities like tennis, music and gym.

We live in Paris Center in the 17th area near the Champs Elysées and the Danish Church. Our children are in the bilingual school, 10 minutes walking from where we live. They speak French (native) and English.

We are an active and welcoming family and parents working full time

We will need your help to pick up our kids after school  from 4pm15/30 until 7pm30 and on Wednesday afternoon and baby sittings during the week or week-end (maximum 30 hours per week).

The typical day would be to pick up kids at school, going to activities, supervising homework, bath and cooking simple meals until we arrive around 7pm30/8pm

Our current Au Pair is Danish and takes French lessons at the Danish School. We like to have an Aupair because for us it's a good way to discover another culture and also to share our Parisian way of living and more generally we are happy to show all the good things of living in France (Culture and foods!)

We are looking for an Aupair who is :

- Trustworthy, reliable and loving kids

- Active and organised

- Happy to speak English with the kids and French or English with us 

- experienced with kids and cooking simple meals 

- Flexible : if kids are sick and can not go to school we would expect the Au pair to be flexible and spend time at home with the kids

Homework : To help kids to do homework by checking if they have done them for example.

School Holidays : We have quite a lot of school vacation (8 weeks without summer). Usually, it's 2 weeks. We usually try to take one week off during this vacation so we will need your help to spend time with the kids one week full-time but it will be compensated the following week that will be off.

Housekeeping tasks

We have a cleaning lady who comes three times a week so we will just ask you to take care of the clothes of the kids and to keep the kids rooms tidy.

We will ask you to participate to the daily tasks (cleaning the kitchen after cooking, loading/unloading the dishwasher and put away the shopping deliveries)

We like to have a tidying house

90 euros per week so 360 euros per month

AFTERSCHOOL BABYSITTING JOB STARTING IN AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2022

Hello,

We are looking for an afterschool babysitter to take care of 2 kids (6yo & 12yo) from the end of August/ beginning of September 2022 until – at least – the end of the school year (July 2023). More would be great of course 

We are a French family living in the Batignolles area (Paris 17 – metro Rome) and our need is the following (19,5h/week) :

  •           Monday & Friday from 6pm to 8pm
  •           Wednesday from 11.30am to 8pm
  •           Tuesday & Thursday from 4.30pm to 8pm

Our son is 12yo, he attends Middle school and is more independent. Our daughter is 6yo (she’ll turn 7 in July) and her school is 5mn walk from our place (same street). Both of them love games, telling jokes, learning from new cultures.

The tasks will be the usual ones :

  •           Picking up our daughter at school,
  •           Preparing snacks, 
  •           Supervising her homework,
  •           Cooking dinner for both kids,
  •           Playing games 

and of course getting to know each other and having fun! 

 

We have had Danish nannies several times in the past and it has always gone very well. We are still in contact with the majority of them 

We can provide references from our current and former nannies. The position is available end of August, early September.
